I love football

I love football

It is a brilliant feeling to score a goal, save a goal and win a game.
I love playing football because it’s fun, a healthy sport and keeps me fit.
I play football at Regent’s Park on Saturdays.  I like to play with my friends
at school during playtimes. On some playtimes the year 4 kids interrupt our game and do not let us play nicely.
On Thursdays after school I have a football club I go to. My coach is really nice, his name is Tom.

Football is a team game; the object of the game is to score as many goals as possible. If at the end of the game your team has more goals than the other you win the game.
To score a goal you need to do lots of passing. Passing is when you kick the ball directly at another person from your team, giving them a chance of scoring a goal.
There are different types of positions on the pitch. There are defenders who stay at the back of the pitch and keep the ball away from goal. Attackers are people that run down the pitch trying to score a great goal. Wingers are people that run on the sides of the pitch and score a goal. Goalkeepers try to prevent the ball from entering their goal.

The football history has always been fascinating but one team won the world cup five times - BRAZIL.

Team brazil has always been one of the best.
